My Internship

Howdy! My name is Alexandria Smith, and I am a Recreation, Park and Tourism Sciences major from Kerrville, Texas. My certifications in RPTS are Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Special Event Management, and Community Recreation and Park Administration. This summer, I interned with the Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District! I am a Marketing and Special Events Intern, and was able to learn and practice my skills, as well as explore the island and the Pacific Northwest! When applying for internships, I wanted something out-of-state that allowed me to gain hands-on experience and practical skills, while also providing event and marketing materials to put in my portfolio. This internship provided me with that, plus much more!
